"It was all about looking fresh," Victoria's Secret makeup artist Meredith Baraf tells Us Weekly of the "sunkissed" effect she gave the Brazilian supermodel.
Baraf started with a thin layer of tinted moisturizer to even out Lima's skin tone, followed by concealer where needed.
After sitting out of last year’s show due to baby Flynn, 11 months, the Australian beauty made a dazzling return to the runway clad in the $2.5 million Fantasy Treasure Bra. “My wings were so heavy, it was crazy,” she told Us. “I felt at one point, I was falling over!”
Then, she blended VS Makeup Baked Mineral Bronzing Powder over the forehead, cheeks, chin and a touch on the nose. She applied highlighter to the tops of the cheekbones for extra luminosity.
On the eyes she used a mix of gold and bronze shadows with black liner on the top and bottom water lines for a dramatic effect.
The star’s bombshell hair and makeup was inspired by the late 1960s. To finish to look, she buffed Lima's lips with a sugar scrub before applying VS Makeup Lip Gloss in Blush.
