Kate Middleton’s Brow Game Became So Much Bolder in 2016: Love It or Hate It?

Guess who’s jumping on the statement eyebrow trend? Kate Middleton rocked bolder arches as she attended a service in London to mark the 75th anniversary of the Air Training Corps on Sunday, February 7.

While the Duchess of Cambridge’s eyebrows are naturally brunette, they resembled a deeper brown shade and were much more defined than in recent appearances.

Middleton, 34, seemed to be following the celebrity trend, made popular again by Cara Delevingne, as she became the first female Honorary Air Commandant, taking over the position from Prince Philip.

The mother of Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 9 months, has been gradually experimenting with the look, becoming more and more confident since 2014, when she didn’t noticeably fill in her brows at all. And it’s thanks to her own hands, as she doesn’t regularly use a professional makeup artist and famously did her own face for her royal wedding to Prince William in 2011.

This isn’t her only recent beauty change. Middleton debuted side-swept bangs — a completely different look from her bouncy layered post-wedding blowout — in September 2015 and then cut her flowing locks shorter again in December.

But Middleton’s brows weren’t the only subject of conversation at the event, which included a service at the RAF church, St. Clement Danes, followed by a reception at the Royal Courts of Justice. The Duchess told another honoree that Prince George is all about aviation. “He is now obsessed with the air cadets and wants to join,” Lucinda Conder told reporters of what the Duchess said during a brief chat. “We are going to have to push that one when he gets to age 12.”
