Another new business venture for newly single Katie Holmes?
The 33-year-old ex-wife of Tom Cruise has signed a deal with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics to be the first face of the brand, WWD reports. Holmes has previously been a spokesmodel for J. Crew, Miu Miu and Ann Taylor.
Since finalizing her divorce last month, Holmes has been focusing on her career. She will show her first collection from Holmes & Yang at New York Fashion Week with design partner Jeanne Yang. The actress is also set to head back to Broadway this fall for the first time since in 2008, when she performed in All My Sons.
Last weekend, Holmes was photographed seeing an off-Broadway show with her former costar in 2010 The Romantics, Jeremy Strong. "They're totally just friends and have been since The Romantics," a source told Us Weekly. "He's very plugged in to the New York theater scene and is showing her the ropes."
But Holmes, who was given primary custody of her six-year-old daughter, Suri, with Cruise has no plans to start dating again. "She's not dating nor is she interested in dating yet," the insider added. "She's just getting her life together and focusing on her daughter."
