Just keep chopping!
Lucy Hale stepped out in an understated LBD at the 2014 American Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 23, where she presented an award inside L.A.'s Nokia Theatre. But while the Pretty Little Liars actress' ensemble was simple and chic, one thing certainly stood out: her even shorter 'do.
The budding country crooner, 25, last debuted a chop at the 2014 CMA Awards just two and a half weeks before, on Nov. 5. That's when Hale snipped her long, lush Aria Montgomery locks so that they would hit right below her collarbone, adding ombre highlights to the tips.
But before hitting the AMAs red carpet, the mark. model must have made a return trip to hairstylist Kristin Ess' salon. Her sun-kissed tresses were officially shoulder-length—a style she teased via Instagram on Nov. 21—marking Hale's return to the lob. (The actress last revealed a major chop in 2012, during the third season of PLL, but she soon added length back into her hairstyle.)
Keeping all the focus on her haircut, Hale walked the red carpet in a classic LBD by Vera Wang, a patterned look she complemented with a black clutch and matching ebony sandals. A burgundy statement lip completed her playful yet elegant look.
