Haute dog! MAC is known for its high-powered collections like Viva Glam starring Rihanna or its collaboration with Brooke Shields, but now the makeup brand is getting their inspiration from an unexpected muse—dogs.
Don't get it twisted, these pretty pooches are actually the perfect inspiration for the line—which draws from various fur colors (think buttery blonde and chocolate brown) as well as gold, silver, and berry for a "well-groomed" fall collection. Nine new lip colors (with amazing names, like "Labradorable" and "Lap Dog") will sell for $23, while three new eye shadow four-packs will debut for $46. Three new nail polishes will also surface (our favorite is named "Very Important Poodle") and will retail for $12. The line also features powders and brow liners, priced at $22 and $20.
The new Haute Dog Collection will be available in stores Aug. 20 through Oct. 1. While you wait for its arrival, find out what your inner dog personality is at MACHauteDogs.com.
