Easy does it! Margot Robbie stunned in a cream two-piece Prabal Gurung outfit connected by covered buttons at the Beijing premiere of The Legend of Tarzan on July 7. But equally jaw-dropping were her perfect old-Hollywood curls.
The Suicide Squad actress’ chest-length hair looked impossibly soft, without a strand out of place. Thankfully, for those of Us who want to DIY the romantic look, her celeb stylist, Renato Campora, says the ‘do is simple to re-create.
In fact, Campora, who also works with Jessica Alba and Jessica Chastain, tells Us Weekly exclusively that the entire process takes only five steps.
1) Campora began by parting Robbie’s damp hair in the center and scrunching in Nexxus Diametress Volumizing System from root to tip to build body and movement.
2) He blew out her hair using a round brush “to make [tresses] smooth and create shine,” he explains.
3) Once the Wolf of Wall Street actress’ hair was dry with a subtle curl on the ends, Campora worked his way, piece by piece, over her entire head using a 1 1/2-inch curling iron.
4) The L.A.-based stylist let the hair cool down for 10 minutes to set the curl, then slowly brushed through her hair to achieve the soft look.
5) He then applied a flexible Paul Mitchell hairspray so the entire look felt touchable and full of movement.
