It is easy being green (eyed) with this makeup tutorial!

Hannah Davis attended the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition VIP Launch on Tuesday, February 16, in NYC, wearing a glamorous metallic dress and the perfect eye shadow to play up her green eyes.

“Hannah wore a gorgeous sequin, rose gold gown [by Naeem Khan]. So we wanted to keep the makeup look young and modern, as the gown itself is very sophisticated,” makeup artist Quinn Murphy exclusively tells Us Weekly.

Most importantly, Murphy wanted her gorgeous green eyes to stand out. “Hannah has the most incredible eyes, so I used cranberry to make the color pop even more, as it’s a contrast color to green,” the pro, who also works with Emmy Rossum and Frieda Pinto, explains. “We did what I like to call ‘cranberry delight,’ which is a wash of MAC Cranberry Eye Shadow right across the lid and a bit under the lower lash line.” He finished by coating the top and bottom lashes with black mascara.

As for that sun-kissed glow, Murphy turned to Temptu Air’s airbrushing makeup. He applied Temptu Airpod Foundation in Natural (top) as a base. He then contoured her face with the Airpod Bronzer in Warm Glow (bottom), focusing on the hollows of her cheeks, her temples and right under her jawline. And for a final pop of color, he used the Airpod Blush in Soft Peach (middle) on the apples of her cheeks.

For her lips, Murphy chose Temptu Color True Lipstick in Blushed Suede, which he notes, “complemented the cranberry shadow used on the eye without looking too ‘matchy.'”

Temptu Airpod Highlighter in Champagne

Finally, Murphy added a light layer of Airpod Highlighter in Champagne over her face and body, including the top of her cheekbones, her cupid’s bow, on her shoulders and down her legs. “These are the areas you want the flashbulbs of the cameras to hit for that extra pop.” he notes.
