Ever notice how every Victoria’s Secret Angel‘s hair is perfectly waved yet artfully disheveled? Turns out there’s one tool that gave all of the models their bombshell beach waves for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which airs on Dec. 8 on CBS.

Celeb stylist Sarah Potempa used her Beachwaver S1 ($129, Ulta.com) on the tresses of Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Lily Aldridge, Behati Prinsloo, and more — and you can copy their styles with her breakdown.

First, prep hair with a lifting mousse, like Victoria’s Secret Mega-Lift Mousse, then loosely blow dry, allowing your part to develop naturally.
After dividing the hair into left and right sides, use the Beachwaver S1, which rotates to curl hair on its own, to clamp 2-inch pieces near the ends (leaving about 1-inch out). Repeat the process, section by section, until you’ve curled every section of your hair.
To finish, spritz hairspray (Potempa used Victoria’s Secret’s version) on a boar-bristle brush, and smooth out the waves.
