Rooney Mara is the star of Calvin Klein's latest campaign for its new fragrance, Downtown, WWD reports. This marks the first major campaign for the dark-haired actress known for her role in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Mara will be featured in both the print advertisements, shot by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, and television commercials, filmed by director David Fincher of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Social Network.

The 28-year-old actress added, "It's an honor to be part of a brand with such a legacy of breakthrough advertising. The Downtown fragrance holds true to the chic, confident and simple feeling of the Calvin brand. The effortless and timeless appeal of the Calvin Klein Collection and the Downtown scent made this a natural partnership."
