It’s a situation! Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi paid a visit to her go-to plastic surgeon, Dr. Ramtin Kassir, for Botox on Monday, August 8. The Jersey Shore star, 28, chronicled the entire procedure in a series of behind-the-scenes Snapchats.
“Today I’m getting needles in my face,” Snooki told her followers while playing with a few filters. “Getting my first Botox in my forehead. And I’m doing a little plump in my lips too.”
Dr. Kassir, who worked with her last year, began by injecting Botox in her forehead. “Ahh! Mommy,” the mom of Lorenzo, 3, and Giovanna, 22 months, with husband Jionni LaValle, exclaimed, although she captioned the clip with an opposing message: “Wait it didn’t even hurt tho I’m a baby.”
Kassir, who’s appeared on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, also fixed Snooki’s “bunny lines,” which are wrinkles beside the nose caused by laughing. He then moved on to her lips, swabbing them with a Q-tip before pricking them. While her funny facial expressions said otherwise, she insisted that the process isn’t as horrifying as it seems.
“First botox is not bad at all,” she said. “He put a vibrator on my forehead and then a needle. Still scary.” And of course, the Snooki & Jwoww show had to share a selfie once she was finished.
Snooki’s doctor took to Instagram to give his followers a little background on her treatments. “many patients are seeking non surgical options especially when it comes to overall facial rejuvenation such as getting rid of #wrinkles and plumping their lips as @snookinic in this video,” he explained on August 8. “We offer options such as #dysport #Botox and #xeomin. When injected properly by a board certified plastic surgeon, these procedures deliver great results!”
Last August, she showed off her plumper pout and shared a personal message on Instagram: “First session of lip plumps and it’s just fabulous. I’ve always hated my thin lips and never thought I had the balls to get needles in my lip to perfect them but I did!” she captioned. “Trust me girls, I was terrified to get my first ‘procedure’ ever done, but it wasn’t terrible at all! And I hate needles! I love my ‘natural beauty,’ but being able to enhance my lips to make me feel better about myself is life.”
