A restaurant owner in the U.K. thinks redheads have it so hard, they should get discounts on their meals.
Self-professed “former ginger” Mark Linaker of Ginger’s Grill in Wales will offer 20 percent off for customers with natural red locks (tough luck for those with dye jobs).
“I feel that gingers deserve a break,” he told Wales Online of his new burger joint, which opens at the end of April. “As one of my friends said to me, gingers have been getting stick for a long time now so it is time they got something back.”
Though Linaker now has a clean-shaven head, he hopes the deal will help “genuine gingers” feel more accepted. “It will be happy days for gingers in the area, and also ginger tourists who I hope will flock to [the Wales town of] Prestatyn,” he added.
