2012 Met Gala's Best Hair and Makeup: Get the Look

Most Fashion-Forward Hair: Carey Mulligan

The newlywed turned up the drama with a pumped-up pompadour. Suave Professionals celebrity stylist Jenny Cho divided Mulligan's hair into three sections (top, left, right). She twisted the side sections up and inward, towards the center, and secured with bobby pins. "Use your fingers to work the top section to your desired pompadour height," Cho advises. "No need to make it perfect -- keep it a little undone to contrast the tight updo." Set it with Suave Touchable Finish Extra Hold Hairspray.
