Becki Newton

Born in 1978, Becki Newton appeared in musicals and plays at local theaters growing up in Guilford, Conn. Before landing her gig on the ABC's hit comedy Ugly Betty, she had a hosting stint on TBS's Movie Junky and had memorable guest roles on Cold Case, Law & Order: SVU and Charmed. However, Newton's portrayal of office diva Amanda Tanen on Ugly Betty catapulted her to star status. The shining star has been married to actor Chris Diamantopoulos since May 2005.
