911 Call: Fantasia Was Bleeding, Nearly Unconscious After OD

Fantasia Barrino was slipping in and out of consciousness and bleeding after downing a bottle of Aspirin and a sleep aid Monday night, according to the 911 call obtained by TMZ.com.
Says a male voice (likely her manager, Brian Dickens, who signed the police report), "An individual took a bottle of Asprin and she is slowly losing consciousness."

When the operator asks if she's alone, he responds. "I'm outside, but somebody is with her inside." When asked if Barrino, 26, is bleeding, he says, "Yes." He says she doesn't have a weapon and is not violent.
"She's in the shower. Her family tried to put her in the shower to try to keep her awake until the paramedics get there," the male says to the dispatcher, who responds, "Take her out of the shower and turn the water off."

Barrino was rushed to a North Carolina hospital that night, where she's currently in stable condition, Dickens told UsMagazine.com Tuesday. A police report classified the incident as a suicide attempt.
Her father said Barrino was "doing fine" Tuesday night.
The season 3 American Idol champ had recently been facing rumors that she made a sex tape with a married man, Antwaun Cook, causing his wife, Paula, to file for divorce.

Said her manager, while not directly addressing the tape, "Fantasia is a fighter and a survivor. This is not the hardest thing Fantasia has endured. Fantasia will be stronger, smarter, and better for it. Her work has always inspired her and served as a source of strength."

As one said before, The HUSBAND needs to be held accountable for the destruction of the marriage. How in the world is $ going to make you feel better for having a broken heart. 1. She made a mistake. She CAN learn from this. 2. Depression is REAL. People keep saying how she should think of her child. Of course she should, but that should tell u just how serious clinical depression is. 3. Fantasia didn't call 911 for attention, her manager found her & called 911. 4. No matter how she behaved, she does NOT deserve to DIE! Seems like some ppl are minimizing what happened, but this girl could have been DEAD. We need to have COMPASSION & think about that, especially if ur so concerned about her needing to be here for her kid. Ur certainly not helping her b'come mentally stronger by attacking her.
