Actress Mena Suvari Weds in Vatican City!

Mena Suvari wed music producer Simone Sestito in Vatican City on Saturday, her rep confirms to UsMagazine.com.
The American Beauty actress, 31, told Us back in March that the fete was going to be "very romantic and traditional Italian...we'll have at least a couple hundred guests. It's big!" (Canadian-born Sestito has many relatives outside of Rome.)

(It's the second marriage for Suvari; she and cinematographer Robert Brinkman, 17 years her senior, were married for 5 years before divorcing in 2005.)
For her walk down the aisle, Suvari wore a gown by Stacey Bendet, owner of Alice + Olivia and a close friend.

Sestito proposed to Suvari in summer 2008. "He got down his knees," Suvari told Us last fall. "It was very romantic."
"I love him," she cooed of her longtime beau. "He's Italian and my family is part Greek, and it's all about family and culture...I love his family and it just inspires me to live that kind of life."

Sestito is just as smitten. "The thing I love most about her is the understanding," he told Us. "We get each other alot, so there's a good connection there."
Another connection: poker!
"We play poker together really well," Suvari told Us. Added her hubby: "We went to Vegas and she made more than I did!"

Well clearly "J", I care. It's just poor journalism. Geography is important. Gibraltar isn't Gibraltar, Spain, it's part of Britain even though it's surrounded by Spain. Monaco is its own country even though it's surrounded by France. Though the main point of this article is about something else it isn't an excuse for poor writing. Vatican City is a country, not a city in Italy. WHO THE HELL CARES. THE POINT IS THEY GOT MARRIED IN THE Vatican City WHICH IS IN ITALY.
