Shedding for the wedding! Adrienne Bailon took to Instagram on Tuesday, November 1, to reveal that she’s dropped 15 pounds ahead of her upcoming wedding to her fiancé, Israel Houghton.
"H E L L O N O V E M B E R,” Bailon wrote alongside a video. "Well folks, I've lost 15lbs & counting! Can't stop. Won't stop. Focused! Ha. It's always tea time in my dressing room! Loving my detox with @fittea! Have you joined me?! Um, it's November 1st! The perfect time to start! Stay classy lol. XO.”
In the video, The Real cohost, 33, showed off her cozy dressing room. “I thank you guys for all your encouraging words!” she said of fans who have supported her weight loss.
Earlier this year, Bailon addressed the constant scrutiny she receives over her weight. “I just want to make an announcement. I am not pregnant, people. I’m happy! I’m wearing slightly larger clothing,” she said on The Real in February.
The former Cheetah Girl is looking great for her upcoming nuptials to Houghton, 45, who popped the question in Paris back in August. The pair first went public with their relationship in March but faced criticism because the gospel singer had filed for divorce from his wife of 20 years just weeks earlier.
In March, the Grammy-winning Christian-music artist defended their relationship and slammed cheating allegations in a Facebook post. “I met Adrienne Bailon a bit over 2 years ago, we worked together & became friends,” he wrote at the time. “Our circles connected & we remained good friends. From a friendship, as two single adults we have very recently begun to explore a dating relationship. … As I previously wrote in a statement I released a while back, My marriage had been over for quite some time before going public with my divorce announcement.”
Bailon was previously engaged to Lenny Santiago for seven months, but the couple called off their engagement in September 2015. She also dated Rob Kardashian from 2007 to 2009.
