Exclusive: Biggest Loser Couple Get Engaged After Dropping a Total of 241 Lbs

While shooting a special for The Biggest Loser, season 9 contestant Sam Poueu, 23, proposed to castmate Stephanie Anderson, 30, at the NBC show's ranch in in Calabasas, Calif., Oct. 4.

"Steph's amazing!" Poueu (who began dating Anderson by the third episode of their season, which aired earlier this year) first gushed to Us Weekly in May, following his elimination. Admitting that they found it hard to conceal their spark from costars, the aspiring trainer from Northern California said: "Her go-getter attitude really attracted me -- aside from her being beautiful on the outside!"

For her part, Anderson tells Us she's thrilled her friends and family adore Poueu as much as she does.
"You look for a partner who loves you for everything you are and everything you're not," says the radio saleswoman. "And that, for me, is Sam."

The duo, who collectively lost 241 pounds on the show, now live in L.A.

congrats to both of you and for losing the weight i have struggled with mine and i have 3 kids and i have a 6 month old baby i knew you all liked each other i could tell i wish i could join i dont know how to go about it i am in bad health and i dont want to die but i feel like if i dont get right than i might i have sugar blood pressure sciotica nerve trouble and its hard to do the things i want for my kids i am only 35 but my body feels 70 i have to go down steps side ways from the fear of falling i ahouldnt be like this i should be healthy i am an emotional eater and i fear my 9 yr old will be the same way
