Update: Brad Womack, Emily Maynard Step Out -- See Her Ring!

Yep, they're still together.

Brad Womack and fiancee Emily Maynard checked out the SXSW music festival near Womack's home in Austin, Tex. on Tuesday. It was the couple's first public appearance since Monday's emotional Bachelor finale -- and rampant post-show rumors of a breakup (Maynard still sported the Neil Lane engagement ring). Only UsMagazine.com has the first post-show photo of the embattled pair, who have said they don't plan to do press as they work on their relationship.

Womack, 38, proposed to single mom and fan favorite Maynard, 25 on the show -- but things haven't exactly been smooth sailing since that romantic moment in South Africa.

First, the couple scrapped a televised March 8 wedding Anguilla. Then, two weeks after the finale taping, "Emily said Brad just freaked out," an insider tells the new Us Weekly. (During his first round on The Bachelor in 2007, Womack famously jilted two women and didn't hand out any final rose.)

"When all this hoopla is over, I'm not so sure they'll get married," a Womack insider tells Us.

But on Tuesday, Womack himself both assured fans and acknowledged some trouble in paradise, in a statement:

"At long last, Emily and I can be open to the world and each other about our relationship. Though we are madly in love, it has been a bumpy couple of months for us and our priority right now is to focus on our relationship. We hope that you can respect our privacy as we return to normalcy and begin our off-screen lives together."

It's strange that people are writing to these people here. This is a website, they likely are not reading it. Also, it's funny how people feel they can comment on relationships of people they don't even know. Even with people you know, you don't know their relationship from the inside. It's kinda bizarre to tell these people "make it work" or "dump him/her" esp. since all you know about them is what you saw on TV - hardly the place where people are most honest.

I am writing for the very first time about this shows or any others! I was elated that Brad chose Emily! Good call Brad! Emily, please hear what Brad is really saying to you. It is so very obvious to all of us that he is so in love and smitten with you! You stated you love Brad and he has stated the same. DO NOT let any t.v. show come between the two of you. Like one of your other readers stated you surely must have seen the show and knew he would have to do some things for ratings or to even find the right women for him. Would you have not kissed other men? Brad and his family seem very sincere. Like Brad stated he has never perposed before to anyone. Open your heart to loving once again. He nor anyother man will never replace Ricki.

I was going for Emily from the start. It is only natural that she is being 'cautious' with Brad because she has a daughter. Please stay together guys, you balance each other out beautifully! Emily forget about the show, he had the biggest connection with you no doubt! If you had been the Bachelorette, you would have had to kiss some frogs too!

She acts like a delicate Southern Belle, but she sure doesn't dress very demure or ladylike! As for Brad's involvement with the other girls, surely she's seen the show before and knows that's standard. I don't think they're going to make it.

I thought from early on that Brad and Emily would be together in the end, see all the special things he did only for her throughout. Emily forget about everything he did with the other girls on the show, he did so because he was on tv and had to for their ratings. Please stay together and work it out, he loves you and you love him and that is all that matters in the end.
