Brooke Shields: I'll Look Like "the Joker" if I Get More Surgery

After trying Botox, Brooke Shields says she is leery about undergoing any more plastic surgery.
"I want laser treatment because I'm not a fan of my wrinkles," she says in the April issue of Ladies' Home Journal. "But I have to find someone with a light touch. I'm scared I'll end up looking like the Joker."

At 44, Shields says she is struggling to find balance in her life. "I don't know if you ever do feel balanced," she says. "People who say they do are lying." The actress - who headlines the family comedy Furry Vengeance (out Apr. 2) - says she feels "greedy" because she wants it all.

"I want to be able to do the projects I want to do and be the kind of mother my daughters want," says Shields, who has two daughters with her writer-husband Chris Henchy - Rowan, 6, and Grier, 3.

"We were walking to school yesterday and my daughter said, 'Mom, I want you to be a class mom,'" Shields recalls. "I laughed in her sweet little face and said, 'You want me to be a class mom?' I said, 'I'm a classy mom. Isn't that enough?'"

I'm sure if you're a celebrity they practically give you a degree. I can't see them turning you away! Anyhow I don't know what she is trying to say regarding being a homeroom mom... or if she is trying to be funny or what. Regardless, I hope she puts her kids first though as they grow up so fast. Career second even though she has to work. No denying she looks good... but so do many other celebrities. We don't see them up close and many pictures of them are altered. Plus they have access to the best products, make up artists, trainers etc. Things the average person does not have.
The easiest classes at Princeton still aren't easy. And why is Agassi discussing her financial business with anybody? I think Brooke looks great. She's in her 40's and still better looking than most women in their 20's. She looks very young for her age.

Brooke's husband, Chris Henchy is a very successful television producer - not sure she's the bread winner at all. Brooke, is IMO very attractive and doesn't need to worry about her looks except she works in Hollywood where self/looks are everything which is sad.
Brooke took the easiest classes at Princeton. Agassi said she was broke despite having worked and being paid well all of her life. I was surprised she hadn't banked millions. She should have taken a business class that would teach her not to spend more than you should!

I hate her lame commercials about toothpaste and eyelash growing formula. What does her husband do for a living? You can tell her daughters are going to be very prety but she's aging quickly like many other women and with no surgery she will age even quicker.
For your info some moms work and are homeroom moms. It just so hapens that I did it myself so don't assume you know exactly what all moms do.
Brooke's HUSBAND can be homeroom dad. Brooke has to work. She is obviously a devoted mother. You don't have to be homeroom mom to prove you love your kids for Christ Sake! When her daughters get to pick any college they want to go to, (Brooke is a Princeton graduate), and MOMMY will pay for college, her daughters will thank her. FYI BROOKE SHIELD HAS WORKED HER ENTIRE LIFE!! She supported her mother and now she is supporting her family!!
Two things are for certain- There are a lot of jealous class moms on here that want Botox and can't afford it. Secondly, Botox is NOT surgery. No scalpel is used and the effects are not permanent. It's about as permanent as getting a haircut! You get an injection which very temporarily relaxes facial muscles to make lines less noticeable, then it wears off, simple as that. It is a cosmetic procedure but is not cosmetic surgery!!!
It sounds like Brooke needs to get her priorities in order. I don't know what she considers balance, but balance doesn't mean getting everything you want in life or achieving perfection.

Brooke is beautiful and her daughters are as well, but your kids are only going to be little once so I'd do things for them.
She ran away from her kids to go back to work almost as soon as she had them. I think she cares more about her career. Even if she was kidding her joke was stupid. She's had so many anxiety issues and depression issues etc in the past. Maybe these kids are getting to her though she has hired help or can afford it I'm sure. She's not a spring chicken to have kids that young either.
Why can't you be a class mom? You too busy doing toothpaste commercials? That doesn't exactly make you a 'classy' mom. Nice to laugh in your kids face while she's saying she basicly would like to see you more.
Well, i think Brooke is very classy. Ive actually met her twice(she was with both her kids each time) and she is a very nice person. When i met her at the "Grease" musical in NYC she was posing with fans and was very affectionate towards her children. Then, i recently saw her at Pinkberry in NYC and she was a doll! Those kids are too cute...
How nice. Your daughter let's you know that she would love you to be her class's room mom and you"laugh in her face" and say you're classy?? Really. I have to give Andre Agassi some credit for coming to his senses.
