New Mom and Dad's date night in DC!
Less than three weeks after welcoming son Hawkins Crawford Romo, Tony Romo and wife Candice Crawford were ready for an evening out, hitting Google and The Hollywood Reporter's bash to kick off the White House Correspondents Dinner weekend, held Friday at the W Hotel in Washington, DC.
Former beauty queen and Texas TV personality Candice, 25, looked sensational and slim in a spandex mini-skirt, tank top and bright yellow blazer. She and her Dallas Cowboys quarterback husband, 31, gushed to fellow celeb guests about their bundle of joy, born April 9 in Texas and weighing a healthy 8 lbs. 8 oz.
Chatting with Gayle King, Romo was overheard bragging that he's getting "good at the diaper thing," and the pair showed off photos of their son to King, Matthew Morrison and Candice's famous brother Chace Crawford.
The Gossip Girl hunk was present for the birth of his first nephew, and shortly before Hawkins' birth, he told Us that his brother-in-law was "over-the-moon excited" to become a father.
"He was born ready to have a family, you know what I mean? So it makes perfect sense," Chace, 26, said.
As it happens, Romo's most famous ex, Jessica Simpson, is currently awaiting the birth of her very first child, a little girl, with fiance (and former NFL pro) Eric Johnson.
