Carlos Santana, 63, knows how to make any event, well, smooth. And his December 19 wedding was no exception.
When rain threatened to mar his Maui nuptials to drummer Cindy Blackman, 51, the guitar legend -- who split with wife of 34 years, Deborah in 2007 -- opted for an indoor ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton.

Santana and Blackman, who has worked with rocker Lenny Kravitz, swapped vows in front of 180 guests, including celeb pals George Lopez and Herbie Hancock.

Highlights of the ceremony? The pair washed their hands in a bowl of rainwater to absolve themselves from all things past and released a set of doves.
