Video: Charlie Sheen: "Duh!" I'm Clean and Sober!

Another day, another unforgettably bizarre Charlie Sheen interview.

In an interview that aired Monday, the embattled Two and a Half Men star, 45, sat down with the Today Show to slam CBS, show creator Chuck Lorre -- and insist that he's on the straight and narrow.

Asked if he's clean. Sheen retorted, "Look at me. DUH." The last time he did drugs? "Don't remember. Don't care. Drug tests don't lie." (Watch a clip above)

The actor admits that he derailed a bit before the two-day bender in January that led him to the hospital. "I don't know if I'd call it out of control, but the choices I was making weren't leading to the choice I wanted. I woke up and thought, 'you're 45 years old with 5 kids. Let's do something different.' I got bored."

Sheen stopped short of calling his at-home treatment "rehab." "It was a crisis management center we labeled the Sober Valley Lodge," the star quipped.

Speaking of his five kids -- four of them under ten -- Sheen said that he's not ashamed of his behavior. "God no. Talk about an education!"

He urged his fans not to worry about his health. "I've always had a plan and executed it perfectly. Sometimes I overshoot the mark, whatever." Bizarrely, he boasted of having "tiger blood" and "Adonis blood" to help him kick his addictions.

As for his continued rants against CBS and Chuck Lorre -- who put the show on hiatus recently -- he explained: "My passion is misinterpreted as anger...I don't think people are ready for the message I'm delivering and delivering with a sense of violent love."

That "violent love" came out again as Sheen blasted Chuck Lorre. "Clearly he didn't bring gum for everyone," he said, blasting Lorre's "dictatorial laziness."

"Come Wednesday morning," he added, "they're going to rename [the studio] Charlie Brothers and not Warner Brothers...At this point, it's 3 million an episode, take it or leave it. Defeat is not an option."

"If people think I'm insane or if they don't think what I'm saying is true, I have no interest in their retarded opinions," he retorted. "I'm going to live my life the way I want and I'm going to win every moment!"

Addiction is cunning, baffeling, and powerful! I only know that because I am a recovering addict. Addiction can and will make a good person do and say bad things. Unfortunately addiction takes you one of three places: jails, institutions, and death. I pray that for his sake and his families sake that it isn't the latter. It seems to have him by the short hairs and that is a miserable existance. I hope he finds his way back before it's too late. He is lashing out at people now because it more comfortable than focusing on the hurt and devistation he feels about himself right now. Been there... done that!!! Thank God I found my way back to the living. I'm not simply existing anymore. Gods speed Charlie.

  • February 28, 2011 - 2:25pm Kimberly Paric

What a scumbag! Stupid freakin' addict really needs to get over himself. This is so typical of addicts. It's all about me, me, me, and screw everyone else. His poor kids.

Cocky never works. People hate cocky. He should be ashamed of himself. All these greatly talented people on his show "Two and a Half Men" no longer have jobs thanks to this Bozo.

  • February 28, 2011 - 12:16pm Lori Corsello-Hannan

Open Letter to CBS and Warner Brothers: Please do not give this narcissistic, addle-brained wackjob one more penny. It is the sharp writing on Two and a Half Men that makes the show what it is. Either replace him or cancel the show and cut your losses, but Charlie Sheen is finished. Too many years of substance abuse have turned his brain into oatmeal. I feel sorry for his kids.

This guy is the poster child for entitlement. He truly believes he is the reason behind that lame-a** show's success. When you consider it literally has no competition in its timeslot and it has excellent writing, Charlie has a lot to learn. But most important, Charlie is playing a cleaner version of himself. Big stretch right? Society and this generation's biggest mistake is according misanthropes like this moron adulation for merely showing up and delivering the lines written for him. The more outlets given to him to spout his poisonous prose, the guiltier "we" are for enabling this moron to continue a public persona. Hopefully his father will come out soon and wring his hands and say dramatically how Charlie suffers from a disease..someone should point out to Martin, the disease is an outsized ego because everything else wrong with him is caused by choices his son makes. The dude needs to be shut down and bless Warner Brothers for taking the first serious steps towards righting the wrong they were committing by giving this idiot a soapbox from which to spout his poison.

The guys a puke. Can't imagine the type audience he draws. Fits right in with the Jersey bimbos, Kim, Lindsay, Kendra, and all the other trash out there lately.
