Cher at 63: It's "Rough" Appearing On-Screen With Young Burlesque Co-Stars

At 63 years old, Cher admits it's not always pretty filming Burlesque with the much younger Christina Aguilera and Kristen Bell.
"It's a hard job. You get up at 5 a.m. and you try to look good," she tells Entertainment Tonight. "All these girls are, like, a third my age. That is rough."

Cher is impressed with her less experienced co-stars though.
Of Aguilera, 30, she says, "I'm shocked, but she's really good. The other day, we were hamming it up so badly, so old, like vaudevillian. She was keeping up! She was hot. Her game is good!"

Says Aguilera, who makes her film debut in the flick (out this November), "It's really fun tapping into this whole new experience."
The singer plays Ali, an aspiring actress and dancer who moves to Los Angeles to make it big. Former Dancing With the Stars pro Julianne Hough also plays her biggest role to date.

Of the skimpy costumes, Hough, 21, jokes, "My dad might have a hard time watching. I like it. Obviously, I've worn next to nothing on the show [Dancing]. It's kind of second nature!"

Cher will always be beautiful...no matter what age...she is a timeless beauty and extremely talented woman! I cannot wait to see her performance in Burlesque as well as the rest of the cast..this will be a great movie! And...Cher will then be known as a two time (blank) Oscar winner!
It's tough to be a woman especially one in Hollywood...how many women are getting roles like her at her age? Yeah Cher you are an awesome multi-talented lady and I will tell you she endures...at least she can act...let's see how madonna looks in 10 years...she is ten years younger than Cher...she was fug before surgery so it will be a mess and not a hot one either. She will make that lion queen lady look like a beauty queen.

I love Cher, in fact idolized her when I was very, very young and she was on the Sonny and Cher show. I was very tall and thin as a teen and was made fun of. I was convinced I grow into the beauty Cher's thinness had, and I did! I can't help wishing she hadn't gone so overboard on her face as I am sure she would have been beautiful with a few wrinkles as well. It's almost like I miss her, as she doesn't look like herself. That's my opinion though and as long as Cher is happy, more power to her! Wouldn't a Sonny and Cher reunion special have been wonderful about now if he hadn't passed away? I got you babe.....what a classic, beautiful love song.
