She's back to work! Five months after welcoming her first child, Christina Ricci was also smiles as she attended a TCA panel in Pasadena, Calif., on Friday, Jan. 9.

The Pan Am alum, 34, looked slim in a black-and-white frock while promoting her eight-part Lifetime series, The Lizzie Borden Chronicles. Ricci first played Borden, a Massachusetts woman who killed her stepmother and father in the 1800s, in the TV movie Lizzie Borden Took An Ax in January 2014.

During the TCA panel, Ricci opened up about her role in the upcoming, fictionalized series. "I think she's a really fun character to play. I mean, she's out of her mind and a bad person and she likes to commit murder. So, I just go to a place where things are fun and dark."

"This came up sort of out of the blue," she added of the show. "I never expected to play her again."

Us broke news in August that Ricci and her husband James Heerdegen, 32, welcomed a baby boy. The new parents have yet to share the tyke's name.
