Demi Lovato's Dad: Pressures of Hollywood Got to Her

Demi Lovato's father believes the pressures of Hollywood got to his 18-year-old daughter, who has checked into a treatment center for emotional and physical issues.
“There are a lot of pressures," Patrick Lovato tells RadarOnline. "That is one of the things I worried about when she signed with Disney."
Patrick - who is divorced from Demi's mother - hasn't seen his daughter recently.
He was taken aback by numerous reports that Lovato has struggled with body image issues, as well as other issues.

She has openly talked about being bullied as a kid. Asked if he knew about the incidents that later forced her to be home-schooled, her father tells Radar, “No I sure didn’t."
As for reports that the Disney star has a cutting issue, he says, “I can’t say."

He wanted to stress to fans that she doesn't have a drug or alcohol problem and that she will be back on her feet in no time.
“She’ll be fine,” he says. “She’s strong all right.”
