Exclusive: Former Buffy Star James Marsters Is Engaged!

TV veteran James Marsters is adding another role to his resume: husband!
A rep for the actor (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Smallville, Caprica, Torchwood) confirms exclusively to UsMagazine.com that he's set to wed longtime girlfriend Patricia Rahman this fall.

Marsters, 47, met fashion design student Rahman, 24, at a concert in Amsterdam. He popped the big question in Trier, Germany.

The actor -- perhaps best known as vampire "Spike" on Buffy and Angel -- will next be seen on CBS series Hawaii 5-0, which premieres in the fall and also stars Lost star Daniel Dae Kim.

With regards to Donna Mason. She does know James just not as well as she claims she does. I've met the man a handful of times myself and I often get a nod of recognition. Same with Steve. I've spoken to him at various events often enough that he can recognise me on sight. However, unlike Donna I don't go about saying that I'm friends with them. I also don't go about gossiping about James and his family and calling him big bro in one breath and then lusting after him in the other. Also, giving him gifts and him accepting them doesn't make him your friend. He's a public figure who's income depends on being liked by his fans. I will go one step further and say that Donna isn't just a liar, she's also delusional. Beware everyone of her. She has delusions of grandeur, thinks she's a slayer or Spike's sister (her words not mine) and will threaten anyone with court action over libel and slander. The thing is that going to the authorities in her case just isn't feasible cause it's in her interest to stay off their radar.
You know if he didn't have a son then whatever....But his son is only 10 years younger than his soon to be new step mom...What kind of role model is that to display to his son?? And reguardless of if she was 18 or 17 or 19 are you the same person now that you were when you were that young?? I'm 28 and I know for a fact I'm definatly not the same as I was when I was 18.

And we all know you don't know him at all and he's certainly not like a brother to you. get real dear. patricia was 17 when james first met her she celebrated her 18th birthday a month or so later.he went to her leavers ball the following year when she had turned 19.he went australia that same year as he gave away the coat he had worn for the ball.
James told some of his fans earlier this year that Patricia wants him to retire from acting and do something else with his life. So fans, enjoy him while you can. His wife-to-be doesn't want to share him.

And for the record... no he doesn't have met him about a dozen times and every time he smelled very nice. I can't say anything about his girl... 'cause I've never met her. I hope they are both happy. Donna Mason - Embarrassing herself in James Marsters fandom since 2007. Just to make it clear, she's a fan of James and that's it. She's not a friend of his or Steve or Juliet or Gareth. She goes to James' appearances, queues like the fan she is, and pays to get photo ops, during which James is polite to her, a stranger. But that's it. Nothing more.

I was curious, but this age difference is pretty large. 48 and 24, that's half his age. I know few 24 year olds that don't hit at bump at 27 and again later when they come to really know themselves. But think of it...When she's 30, he'll be 54. Dad. And when she's still a juicy 48, his age, he'll be 72. Can you imagine HIM marrying a 72 year old? because that is the age difference.
