Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea's "Booty" may be due for a remix — one very authoritative source just declared 2015 "the year of the torso." Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hannah Davis spilled on her love for stomachs in a new interview.
The gorgeous star, who nabbed her first cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue, dished to the Today show about her risqué cover on Monday, Feb. 9, and the new hot body part.
In the instantly famous shot, Davis, 24, poses with her printed swimsuit bottoms pulled down dangerously low. She shows off her toned body and ample cleavage in the skimpy suit, and gives a slight grin as she stands on a farm in Tennessee.
When the cover debuted, the Today show chose to censor the bottom bits, covering Davis' waistline with a red ribbon. Asked about the show's modest choice by anchor Matt Lauer, she said, "I think you're making it look a lot naughtier than it really is to be honest!"
"I think SI always tries to do something a little different every year," the model added. "I think this year, it's the year of the torso."
Davis' cover was first unveiled in a segment on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
"It was an overwhelming moment," the Saint Thomas-born stunner said of learning that she landed the cover. "I was crying. I was so blindsided by the whole thing, but it's an honor."
Davis' personal life is getting just as much attention as her flourishing modeling career. The rising star has been in a relationship with Yankees great Derek Jeter for about two years.
Though the lovebirds have been seen out and about in New York City over the past few months, Davis stayed mum on her beau when asked about him by Lauer.
"I'm very happy," she coyly replied. "This is a very good time in my life, let's just say that."
