And apparently most men and women don't understand why.

The currently-unattached actress, 41, was voted the most eligible single woman in the world, according to a 60 MINUTES/Vanity Fair poll released Monday.

The star (who nabbed 29 percent of the votes) was followed by Halle Berry (21 percent); Elin Nordegren (15 percent); Betty White (11 percent); Lady Gaga (5 percent) and Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, Elena Kagan (4 percent).

Despite being so unlucky in love, Aniston has said she doesn't want people to pity her.
"This whole 'Poor lonely Jen' thing, this idea that I'm so unlucky in love?" she once told Vogue. "I actually feel I've been unbelievably lucky in love...I'm right where I'm supposed to be."

Random thought after reading a few posts. Um...isn't the term "Why would you buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?" and not the other way around? Anyhow, it's easy for everyone to bash someone you don't know. We get tiny snippets of her life. Who are we to judge? Perhaps those berating her are jealous. Imagine?!
Who in hollywood pays for milk??? Not many value marriage you can tell this by the way the marry and divorce as often as possible. Jennifer is a nice lady who had a butt for a husband. Why he left her for that tramp he's with no one will ever know. Jennifer has much more class than Jolie will ever have. Hollywood loves people with little or no moral because these are the people who are willing to do the stuff that the public wants to see. WHY? they have no values... It's so funny to me that some people are of the opinion that BRAD "made" her...and not the other way around. I always found that Brad married UP when he married her. He always looked so scruffy and wayward, with his crazy relationship with Juliette Lewis (gwyneth was a tad more normal), but Jen gave him class (in MY opinion). Granted, Brad has a tendency to dress up and play the counterpart to whomever he is currently dating, so I suppose that is why he appeared classier when with Jen. I also I don't think she is unlucky in love at all. I think she is doing EXACTLY what she wants and needs to do: date around until you find someone stable...would people have been happier if she had married the first guy after Brad?

Thus, all her fellow middle-aged hens still bitter about Brad finding happiness with Angelina Jolie, voted for her. But everyone knows men run like bats outta helll away from Aniston. She gets far more attention/interest being the scorned ex of Brad Pitt, than she ever would being happily together with a guy who know one knows or cares about.
