Kate Hudson: I'm "Comfortable With" My Body's "Imperfections"

Despite getting a small breast augmentation, Kate Hudson tells the UK Telegraph that she has accepted her body as is.
"I'm pretty comfortable with my body," she says. "I'm imperfect. The imperfections are there. People are going to see them, but I take the view you only live once."

Indeed, in her controversial new film The Killer Inside Me, her character has several nude and semi-nude scenes, and is spanked -- and then beaten -- by her brutal boyfriend (played by Casey Affleck).
Hudson banned her son Ryder, 5, from that particular film's set. "I normally take him on the set with me, but not for that one. 'Mommy is going to be naked on the bed, smoking and getting spanked in the next scene, honey!' I guess it will be weird for him when he does eventually watch it."

The actress claims she never balked at seeing her own parents -- Goldie Hawn and stepdad Kurt Russell -- in love scenes. "It never bothered me," she said. "We always had a good perspective about sex. When you grow up with parents in showbiz who are loud and funny and the life of the party, you get pretty relaxed about that stuff."

But as for watching herself? "I don't like watching myself on the big screen at the best of times," she tells the British paper. "I hardly recognized myself in [The Killer Inside Me]. I'd gained a little weight. I wasn't working out."

68I believe she is pregnant and letting people assume what they want. If I just had my chest enhanced, I wouldn't be hiding behind loose clothing, look at the clothing she wore in the past. My only question would be who is the father?
personally i am not so sure about the Breast augmentation now. She is either pregnant or gained weight, she is loose tops a lot lately, she could just be bloated. either way though if she did get the surgery, she should say that she is comfortable with the way she is now, dont try to hide it, it makes it seem like its a bad thing to enhance something. If it makes you feel better and you dont pull a Heidi then who cares!

CORRECTION:if she was comfortable with her body she wouldn't need to get a boob job. I have the same bust size she did and i am comfortable with it, so i don't feel i need a boob job. It's rediculous for her to say this! Obviously she wasn't comfortable with it because she felt the need to change it. I used to admire her for not having a big bust like other hollywood celebs, now i think she sucks!

is everyone missing the fact that she is completely naked in "several" scenes and is spanked and beaten and she says that "it will be weird for him (her son)when he does EVENTUALLY watch it" (her movie)?! i don't know about other people, but no matter how famous my mother is i would NEVER watch her in a movie like that at ANY age. that's disgusting!
She looks more like she gained weight than had a boob job. Everyone knows that when you gain weight your breasts get bigger as well. She OBVIOUSLY has gained some, look at recent pictures of her. She could be pregnant again as well... Sure looks like it in this picture anyway. Stop ASSUMING you know for a FACT she had breast AUGMENTATION done just b/c US WEAKLY says so. She could very well not have had it done. Just b/c she is secure does not mean she doesn't want to fill out more in clothes IF she did have it done. Having a boob job is NOT always about being insecure.

I feel so sorry for these types of women that are SO insecure they think the size of their boobs is going to help them. Pretty pathetic. I'm 5'1" tall and weigh 105 lbs at 51. I'm athletic, a 34A and my boobs are great and sexy on my body and I've always had girlfriends larger than me that wish they were my size. They're firm and will always stay right where they're at. NO drooping for me, as theirs already are. Sad some women are so messed up like Kate that they think showing a bigger chest will make all their insecurites okay. All that fake boobs will do is cause you a ton of health problems. Fake material in your chest, eeeeew.

Kate is adorable and seems pretty down to earth for a child of Hollywood and now a Hollywood actress/star.
@ Megan..your the jerk...the statement about breast augmentation is made by US Weekly, what Kate actually said is in quotation marks, and has nothing to do with any boob job. Go read the article. As a matter of fact this magazine states Quote: Ah yes, the paparazzi. Hudson does seem to be a favourite target. A week after we met, there was speculation in the gossip magazines about whether or not she had had her breasts enlarged (this being a quality publication, we shall not go there). Again..Kate never said or admitted to a boob job..jerk!
