Kate Winslet Steps Out With New Model-Boyfriend

Kate Winslet is taking her new romance with British model Louis Dowler public.
Holding hands, the two stepped out together for the first time Saturday in London, hitting the hip Groucho Club for dinner and another hot spot, Mahiki, until 3 a.m.

Before their chauffeur drove them off, Winslet, 34 -- in a stunning little black dress and three-inch heels -- looked smitten, gazing at Dowler, 34, in the back of their car and cracking up in laughter several times. To see more of Kate on her date with Louis, click here.
The actress had been keeping a low profile since announcing in March that she and director Sam Mendes had split after nearly seven years together. (They have a son, Joe, 6; Winslet has a daughter, Mia, 9, from a previous marriage to Jim Threapleton).

Four months later, reports surfaced that Winslet and the 6-ft. model (who has appeared in Burberry ads alongside Kate Moss) were an item.
According to reports, they met through mutual friends.

"They've been on lots of dates and really enjoy each other's company," reports UK's The Mirror. "Louis has a good sense of humor and is a lovely guy. He gets lots of attention when he's out and about - but he's not your typical model. Not at all big-headed."

"Kate certainly seems smitten. Who wouldn't be?" UK's The Mirror quotes a source as saying. "They've really got something special."
