Kourtney Kardashian is dealing with her anxiety issues head-on. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star opened up on her website on Monday, January 4, writing about how her body has changed since she split from longtime love Scott Disick.

Kardashian posted the message to her fans hours after Us Weekly exclusively revealed that Disick is dating Swedish model Lina Sandberg.

“Everyone deals with hard times in their lives differently. I’m generally not a nervous person but I get anxious. I also get nauseated; I feel like I can’t eat when it is really bad, but I force myself to stay healthy,” Kardashian, 36, wrote. “One thing I’ve found that really helps is working out.”

As previously reported, Kardashian and Disick, 32, split over the summer after nine years of dating. (The pair are parents of three children: Mason, 6, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 12 months.) Kardashian — who recently was hooking up with Justin Bieber — revealed on Monday that she made it a goal to work out hard following the birth of Reign.

Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian celebrate Kourtney Kardashian’s birthday at 1 OAK Nightclub at The Mirage Hotel & Casino on April 18, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“I couldn’t wait to feel strong and in shape again,” she explained on her site. “I didn’t know that I would be going through a breakup and just an overall crazy year.”

Kardashian is trying to control her uneasiness the best she can, though. She works out five times a week to calm her nerves.

“My anxiety is always worse in the mornings so that’s when I schedule my workouts. I usually start with a quick run or jumping rope to warm up,” she wrote. “People are very quick to judge others by appearances but you truly don’t know what someone’s motivation is or what is going on inside them. For me, exercise is as much about my body as it is about calming my mind.”
