Summer was made for celebrating! Lady Gaga looked refreshed and relaxed during a Mexican holiday with pals on Thursday, June 6, showing off her fit figure in a floral bikini less than four months after undergoing hip surgery.

The "Born This Way" singer, 27, donned a large white cowboy hat, oversized sunglasses and loose white pants for her beachside foray. In several images, the eccentric performer was even photographed carrying a pair of modest black heels in her hands as she walked along the sand with friends.

Just last month, Gaga showed that she was well on her way to recovery by stepping into her trademark platform boots and a tiny black mini-dress on her way to the Versus Versace launch in New York City on May 15.

An eyewitness told Us Weekly that Gaga and her Chicago Fire beau Taylor Kinney were inseparable at the star-studded event, keeping to themselves throughout the night.

"They were pretty low-key in the VIP section," the source said.

Gaga's slimmer figure comes less than one year after the singer admitted to a 30-pound weight gain in September 2012.

"My weight/loss/gain since i was child has tormented me. No amount of help has ever healed my pain about it. But you have," she shared on her website following public criticism of her fuller figure. "My boyfriend [Taylor Kinney] prefers me curvier. When I eat and am healthy and not so worried about my looks, I'm happy. Happier than I've ever been. I am not going to go on a psycho-spree because of scrutiny."
