Hot mama! Supermodel Lily Aldridge makes her sizzling debut as Rookie No. 8 in Sports Illustrated's 2014 Swimsuit Issue. "I'm so excited to be a part of this iconic issue!" the 28-year-old Angel tells Us Weekly of being part of the magazine's 50th anniversary issue.
"My photos were shot in the Cook Islands by James Macari and it was paradise," the Victoria's Secret Angel, who previewed a shot from her spread via Instagram Tuesday, Feb. 11, tells Us. In it, the mother of one kneels in the shallow, crystal clear waters of the South Pacific, as she bares her amazing abs in a tiny neon yellow bikini. The brunette Nashville native, whose tresses are tied into a loose fishtail braid, gives the camera a sultry stare.
Aldridge, the wife of Kings of Leon rocker Caleb Followill (they share daughter Dixie Pearl, 20 months) is one of twelve women making her first appearance in the annual spread. The SI swimsuit cover will be revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday, Feb. 13, and the cover model will sit down with the show host the following week.
The issue hits stands on Feb. 18.
