Ashley Tisdale is shedding her clothes and her good girl image in the May issue of Allure.

When the time came for the 25-year-old High School Musical star to disrobe for the mag's annual Nudes Issue, Tisdale brought an unlikely guest to the shoot: her mom, Lisa!

"I've always wanted to be sure my parents approve of what I do," she explains. "Even with my tattoos, my mom went with me. The 'believe' tattoo is because my mom always told me to believe."
Her mom's advice paid off, as Tisdale successfully transitioned from Disney darling to a successful recording artist and star of The CW's Hellcats.

"I'm 25, almost 26, but people think of me as much younger because I look young," Tisdale sighs. "Being in this shoot was me saying, 'I'm not just the young girl everybody thinks I am. I'm actually a woman.'"

haha Jema, nice hair looks like some of my friends... oh wait im in highschool...maybe you should start looking for more adult hairstyles? ;) and Btw's BBG, FYI Hellcats isent about high-Schoolers... its about ''a pre-law college student who has to join the cheerleading team, the Hellcats, in order to get the athletic scholarship she needs. If she wants to be seen as a young woman, perhaps she should stop reprising her HSM roles and look for some adult roles. Even Hellcats isn't a transition to adulthood -- it's about high-schoolers for Pete's sake. It's still her tween HSM fans who will be seeing the moving that oh-so-coincidentally comes out right at the same time as the news about her nudie pics.
Here's the deal, and this is for Miley as well: Being an adult is about who you are, not what you flash or bump or grind. My 12 year old has boobs--that doesn't make her an adult, and neither do yours. Getting naked is easy, being a true, dignified adult is not.
Her nose job is AWFUL, so creepy. No idea why she couldn't have stuck with her original, way better.
I LOVE her tattoo! I want to get "blessed" in script somewhere and that is a beautiful place! I love back tattoos but I am over the tramp stamp or shoulder tattoos, I am always looking for new creative places :o)
I agree with Miranda, the picture is very tasteful. I didn't realize she was almost 26 years old. I thought she was about 20 years old.

I agree with Miranda. High School Musical was years ago ... all these "kids" are 22-23 year old adults now.
Very Tastefully done, I think the whole cast of HS Musical has done a wonderful job of transitioning into good ADULT role models (well, minus the nude pics of Vanessa! haha)
