Reese Witherspoon sure is enjoying her vacation in Kauai, Hawaii with husband Jim Toth and kids Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7. (Their dad is her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.)

The Oscar-winner, 35, showed off her sleek physique -- and her new talents as a surfer! -- at the beach on Wednesday.

Clad in white bikini botttoms and a skin-tight bodysuit top, a soaked and happy Witherspoon handily stood atop a surfboard and rode a wave. CAA agent Toth, 39, was also spotted in the water and showing the surfing ropes to his stepkids.

Earlier in the week, the How Do You Know actress revealed a recently-acquired (and sizable!) tattoo on her tummy.

But the ink isn't exactly edgy: The art is of a star flanked by two birds.

How does the actress stay trim after having two kids, anyway? "I try to exercise every day," she told InStyle UK in January 2010. "I like to run for about an hour and I'm big into working out with girlfriends. It's an acquired skill, being able to discuss your love life, children and friends -- all while you're running! But we have mastered it."
