Stepping out for a cause!
Hitting the red carpet in style, Renee Zellweger attended the ALS Association’s “One Starry Night…From Broadway to Hollywood” charity event on Monday, April 20, in Pasadena, Calif.
The Bridget Jones’s Diary star, 45, looked light and airy in a lace trenchcoat with ombre detailing that faded from bright white to a metallic hue at the hem. She accessorized the piece with pointed-toe nude pumps, making her gams look a mile long.
Complementing the feminine style of her coat, Zellweger, who brought her musician beau, Doyle Bramhall, as her date, chose her go-to hairstyle: a fanned-out ballerina bun, with her bangs swept to each side. She also added lightly blushed cheeks and a mauve lip that enhanced her natural color.
The red carpet event came six months after the Oscar-winning actress attended the ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards, where she modeled a nearly wrinkle-free face, instigating an internet frenzy that perhaps she had something done. (One reporter said out loud at the event, “Is that Renee?!”)
Nevertheless, Zellweger appeared to be perfectly content at the musical bash—a state of mind Bramhall has certainly contributed to. On her love life, a source told Us Weekly, “Renee’s really happy and has a new life.”
