David Arquette may be fresh out rehab, but he's still hard at work at his recovery.

The Scream 4 star, 39, has made the decision not to work on the variety show, Beacher's Madhouse, in order to focus on his sobriety.

"David and Jeff have dissolved their partnership," a rep for Beacher's, which opens for previews March 9, tells in a statement of the show. "David remains a big fan of the Beacher's Madhouse and the Roosevelt Hotel, but he is concentrating on his health and well being right now."

Adds an insider, "David and Jeff had a really good talk and were in agreement that jumping right back into working in nightlife after rehab would probably not be the best move for David. Their primary concern is for David's full recovery and that's probably best done not in an environment where he'd be surrounded by alcohol right after Betty Ford."

As for Arquette's relationship with estranged wife Courteney Cox -- they announced their separation in October -- the source says the twosome "are still great friends and getting along really well."

And a reconciliation is not out of the question. Says the insider, "They talk all the time. I’m not sure if they will get back together. They do both still care a great deal about each other."
