Taylor Swift Cozies With New Guy: Glee's Chord Overstreet!

Taylor Swift may be bouncing back from her sad Jake Gyllenhaal split with a musical man: Glee star Chord Overstreet.

Swift, 21, attended Thursday's L.A. Kings hockey match with the breakout singer-actor, 22, as her date. "They looked pretty good together," a witness at the game tells UsMagazine.com.

According to an Overstreet source, Swift called up the star -- they chatted about penning a song together -- on Wednesday night. After Thursday's game, the twosome shared a quick bite. See more photos of Taylor and Chord at the game.

The duo share more in common than blond locks and a love of song, too: Both hail from country music capital Nashville, Tenn.

"They've met a few times," the Overstreet source explains to Us, adding that his brother, Nash Overstreet of the band Hot Chelle Rae, penned a rap song that Swift performed with T-Pain at the CMT Awards in 2009. "Chord's a lady's man," says the source.

Will sparks fly? "Chord is into her," the pal says. "He will definitely pursue this."

Overstreet wouldn't be Swift's first Glee-ful guy: She dated Cory Monteith -- now Overstreet's romantic rival on the show -- early last year.

of course, no one take this the wrong way, i LOVE both taylor swift AND chord overstreet (Believe it or not, theyve both gotten me through some pretty tought times) but...how awesome would it be if they broke up and chord made a funny twist of fate by writing a song about HER....heheheh(:

Have you people heard of DATING? Seriously, she's 21 and that's what people do until they find the person they eventually settle down with. Would you prefer she marry the first person she dated and pop out some kids before she's 21 and then end up divorced? She's young and is doing what most of you haters wish you could!

I agree with Gillie. Maybe all of you met your spouses when you were 16 and didn't date before you settled down, but this is called DATING. You go out on a date with a guy, maybe you go on a second date, maybe you don't, maybe it lasts a few weeks, a few months, or it ends up being a long term relationship. Why all the negative energy? She's 21 and single. There's no reason she shouldn't be dating and should instead stay home mulling over why her previous relationships didn't turn out to be "the one" when she's only 21!

There is such thing as FRIENDS. Not all women and men have to romantically attracted to each other because they are hanging out. But, if they are together... As much as I love Taylor she is very dependent on men. She goes from guy to guy to guy because she doesn't like to be alone. I wouldn't say it makes her a tramp just needy. Hopefully she finds a decent guy that deserves her because she seems like such a great person. Can't wait to see her on tour this summer! WOO.
