Valerie Bertinelli Is Engaged!

Valerie Bertinelli's going to be a bride again!
The actress, 50, is engaged to businessman Tom Vitale, as she reveals in the June issue of AARP The Magazine.
"I've never had a male friend like I have with Tom," she gushes to the magazine of Vitale, who she has been dating for nearly six years.

Vitale explains to AARP that he proposed during a romantic trip to Italy. "We're both still a little afraid of commitment, but then we were over there, and it was like our souls were calibrated...If the timing wasn’t right, I wouldn't have asked."
It's the second marriage for Bertinelli, who filed for divorce from rocker Eddie Van Halen in 2005 after nearly 25 years together. They have a 19-year-old son, Wolfgang.

Last year, the Jenny Craig spokeswoman announced that she had lost 50 pounds from her 5-foot-4 frame.
"If my life wasn’t starting to turn around, I couldn't have welcomed [Vitale] into it," Bertinelli tells AARP of her transformation.

Adds Vitale: "We just understood each other completely...My family is her family. It wasn't love at first sight; it was family at first sight."

I love Valerie. The older she gets the more beautiful she becomes. I always thought her and Eddie were a beautiful couple...even though they seemed to be an odd match. Her and Ed have remained friends and hes also friends with her new man. (I saw her interview with Shatner). Anyway wishing them the best!!!
