Vanessa Hudgens Wears Sexy Bikini Top on Hike in Malibu: Instagram Photo

Hiking does her body good! To help beat the heat, Vanessa Hudgens stripped down to her bikini top while hiking with little sister Stella in Malibu on Monday, Sept. 9.

The 24-year-old actress shared a photo on Instagram from their scenic workout on Sept. 10 and quoted James Blake's "Retrograde" in the the caption. "So be the girl you loved, Be the girl you loved," she wrote. "#climbingboulders #hiking #natureReset #malibucreek #latergram #stellahudgens @kimhidalgo." In the snapshot, Hudgens proudly stands on top of a boulder at Malibu Creek State Park while flashing the peace sign to the camera.

The Spring Breakers star showed off her slim, toned body in a dark string bikini top and tiny shorts. She accessorized her look with a shawl wrapped around her waist and hiking boots.

During the hike, Hudgens retweeted sister Stella's photo of the stunning Southern California flora and wrote, "Pure perfection '@stellahudgens: soooo nice hiking in Malibu today @VanessaHudgens @kimdalgo.'"

The former Disney star enjoyed some quality time with her sister, whom she also gives a special thank-you to in the October issue of Marie Claire. Hudgens acknowledged that her family made big sacrifices in order for her to pursue her career goals. "Money was a big thing. My parents drove me up to L.A., which cost a lot because of gas, and took out loans so that we could move from location to location to be close to L.A.," she explained. "The family definitely struggled. They were very supportive of me. They gave up a lot so that I could get to where I am."

Hudgens added, "A sense of knowing I'm part of something bigger than myself has allowed me to enjoy life more."
