Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz Welcome a Baby Boy

Alicia Keys and husband Swizz Beatz have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Egypt Daoud Dean, her rep confirmed to UsMagazine.com. The singer gave birth in NYC on Thursday night, the rep added.
On Friday, Beatz (real name: Kasseem Dean) Tweeted: "I'm so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life wowwwwww!" It's the first child for Keys, 29; Beatz, 32, has three children from previous relationships.
The couple's good pal Mary J. Blige offered her congrats via Twitter Friday, writing "I'm So excited 2 Congratulate my brother @ therealswizzz and @Alicia keys on their New, baby, boy!!!!!!!"
Keys, 29, and Beatz, 32, tied the knot in a private ceremony in July on the Mediterranean Sea.
The two - who have been together since fall 2008 -- announced their engagement and baby news to Us in May.

"She's always glowing!" Beatz recently gushed to Us about Keys.
He added that her pregnancy has been nothing but "smooth sailing" so far. "I'm feeling amazing!"

Keys told Us she was eager to greet her little one. "The baby is going to see everything that I do, and that we do," she told Us.

just because Egypt is Swizz's fourth child doesn't mean his and Alicia's marriage will fail. though his history doesn't bode well for a long marriage. Nell Newman would've been her dads fifth child and her mothers second if not for a miscarriage 14 months earlier and her mother was Alicia's age and an oscar winning actress so it was a totally different thing and her dad had also been nominated for his first of nine acting and 1 producing oscar and lost 2 days before she was born

get over it there have been worse name combos in hollywood history at least the kid didn't get stuck with their birthdate as a middle name like Olivia Dahl did granted both of her parents are considered legends in their chosen fields something Alicia & Swizz will never be correct her father was beloved childrens author Roald Dahl and her mother was beloved stage and screen award winning actress Patricia Neal of course at one point after her death when her mother nearly died while pregnant the Los Angeles times called her dad Ronald and also printed that her mother had died looks don't matter it's whats inside that does

Egypt?,,,next child Israel...why punish the children...innocnet...so selfish i hope he will smarten up...he was not being responsible in other relationships maybe Alicia is the one to straighten up his life they both know the story so i will not judge them best wishes she seems so happy!
get over yourselves Egypt isn't an outrageous name like Bronx. celebs have given their kids outlandish names since the 1960's so it's not a new Phenomenon. some so called normal names are overused like Ann or Paul both of which are saints in the Catholic Church and any off shoot of it. if the Kid hates his name he can change it legally when he turns 18
