Alicia Silverstone Welcomes Baby Boy!

Like, motherhood is so totally great!

Alicia Silverstone gave birth to a baby boy in L.A. on Friday, the actress confirmed on her official blog.

It's the first child for the Clueless star, 34, and her husband Christopher Jarecki.

"My husband and I welcomed our 7 lb 15 oz baby boy Bear Blu Jarecki into the world on May 5 at 7:50 a.m. We are all three in love," she wrote. "I'm so grateful to this community for all the love, support, good wishes and happy vibes you've sent me during my pregnancy... it has been wonderful. Thank you all!"

Silverstone's rep confirmed her pregnancy to Us back in January. She and rocker Jarecki, 40, tied the knot in June 2005.

Like fellow first-time mother Natalie Portman, Silverstone is a strict vegan and recently penned the book The Kind Diet. She's long credited her meat and dairy-free lifestyle with improving her health.

"I haven't been to a doctor in 13 years," she told Us last year. "I don't have to worry about calories, I don't have to worry about how I look because I know that what I do makes me look my best."

Well, Alicia loves dogs, maybe she named her baby after a deceased pet. Just kidding! These celebs need to think "classy" not "which name will get my kid beat up the fastest?"

Bear Blu is like Bear in the Big Blue House or Blue in Blues Clues.Anyway,Alicia will make a perfect Princess Catherine if one has to play that role in a movie.

Bear Blu? Like, WHAAAAAT? See, she alwayw seems so grounded, well, as long as you do not know peaple personally...but that weird name says a lot.

Of all the cool sounding boy names, and they pick "Bear" It may be cute for baby, but as an adult, the name may sound dorky.
