Bethenny Frankel is pretty frank about her birthing plan!

"I'm too neurotic to give birth in my bathtub," the Real Housewives of New York City star tells UsMagazine.com, referencing supermodel Gisele Bundchen's all-natural labor. "I'd be like, 'How are we ever going to clean this mess up?' In the middle of labor, I'd be telling my assistant to get Brillo pads."

Check out pics of these adorable A-list babies!

Instead, she admits that "there will be drugs involved." And unlike Bundchen, she says she doesn't "need to be a hero."

Frankel, 39, is due in June with her first child with fiance Jason Hoppy, but she already knows how to have the perfect pregnancy.

Her top tips?

Look to Seasoned Vets
The chef and author of her second cookbook, The Skinnygirl Dish, looks to fellow reality star parents for advice, including moms Alex McCord -- who offered to throw a baby shower -- and Ramona Singer, who Frankel says has been supportive.

See reality TV's biggest brawls

"She's been like, 'You have to sit down. You have to put your seat belt on,'" Frankel tells Us. "She's very nurturing and even asked to be in the delivery room, which I'm laughing at."

Prep Those Boobs
Even Lisa Rinna is offering up advice!

"I want to nurse," Frankel says, adding that the star told her "to rub my nipples with a dry towel during the last six weeks of pregnancy" to prep them for the soreness that comes with breast-feeding.

Put Your Man to Work
Entrepreneur Hoppy, 38, is the one reading What to Expect When You're Expecting, she says.

Plus, she says he is already a good father.

"He puts his head on the belly and talks to the baby, which is really cute," she tells Us. "He'll be like, 'Hi baby. We can't wait to meet you.'"

How can Bethenny Breast Feed with her implants. Would you like some silicone with your milk?

  • April 09, 2010 - 12:57am Rachel

She definitely looks prettier and younger with a little weight on her. I hope she doesn't loose all the weight with the baby.Past a certain age, we women need the a little more fat because it plumps us naturally like when we younger.Example- Luann is the perfect weight for her height/age without being too thin.

Bethany I love you because you are strong and smart. You are a little overbearing. You make some people not want to be bothered with you. You are what they call a Miss Know It All. You don't know everything Boo. You are especially beautiful now that you are pregnant. Women look so much better with some meat on their ass. Please don't lose all the weight, otherwise you will look sunken in again. Stay strong and don't let anyone walk over you, especially that man. Just like you are sharp and observant with your coworkers and piers, be the same way with him...just don't nag and whine. Love you Bethany.

Good Grief. Women give birth every day. Why do these so-called celebrities think they're so special.

I think maybe what Bethenny meant by "drug" is "ephydural" prior to the delivery. Bethenny is smart and she has a smooth skin. It seems like she will have a baby boy! I can't wait for her and Jason to tie a knot.

LoVe Frankel - I hope for the best for her & her new family - Jill can bite it, Jill I always thought was a control freak with a big mouth of gossip, that stands to the side when she gets confronted - she always has an excuse for everything. And she (Jill) should stay out of other peoples fueds, she (Jill) just fuels other peoples garbage. GOOD FOR YOU Frankel for standing your ground and not allowing yourself to be titled the "under dog" which by the way I felt you NEVER were.

Why all the nasty comments? There is enough negativity in this world, why add to it? Nobody is perfect, and Bethanny is the first to state she has many faults. We should wish her well in her pregnancy and relationship. If you have nothing to do but make nasty comments, you really need to get a life. Oh, over 80-90% of pregnant women get epidurals (I just finished a paper on epidurals) and I rarely see women have natural childbirth in hospitals today.

  • March 17, 2010 - 5:01pm jo

yes........ you are the first person who ever got pregnant-

  • March 17, 2010 - 4:54pm Andrea

Sheryl, please don't play the part of "strong woman" here. There is no shame or danger in wanting an epidural. Most of the mothers I know who insisted on having an all-natural childbirth either wimped out and ended up getting the epidural. Women with your attitude are all the same, "mothering" the same type of children: selfish, screaming, neurotic brats that you're afraid to say no to or spank, for fear that you will lose their love or damage them psychologically.

Congrats and best wishes, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy the bitter and sweet of raising children.

  • March 17, 2010 - 3:08pm Sheryl

She is an idiot. Some women do better than others when it comes to childbirth, but to be announcing that she will want drugs long before the baby is due is just telling the world what she will be like in childbirth. A neurotic, demanding, screaming idiot. There is pain in childbirth. You are not the first one to do this. Poor baby will be unduly stressed because of your fear of pain and will also be born drugged up. You might want to consider making this your only child.
