Parenthood looks good on this pair! Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds hit the red carpet of a Deadpool fan screening on Monday, February 8, marking their first official joint appearance at an event since they welcomed their daughter, James, in December 2014.
The gorgeous mom, 28, was totally dolled up for the occasion in a jeweled and satin paneled dress by Chanel Haute Couture, while her heartthrob husband, 39, looked handsome in a polka-dot shirt and navy suit.
The Green Lantern costars married in September 2012. In an interview with Extra this week, Reynolds joked about his baby girl’s reacting to him as the title character in Deadpool. “She wept and cried when she saw my makeup,” Reynolds cracked. “She sees her father and what sounds like her father, but what looks like a deep fried testicle … so that’s alarming for a 1-year-old.”
The actor also praised his wife for her impressive diaper-changing skills. “My wife can do it when the baby’s running, which is spectacular,” Reynolds noted. “She’s the David Copperfield of bodily functions.”
Lively has been especially supportive of her husband’s big action-hero flick, slated to hit theaters on Friday, February 12. Just this past weekend, the Age of Adaline actress posted a pic to Instagram of herself seated on Reynolds’ lap on a Deadpool throne. … Only his hands were elsewhere.
“Two Deadpools, one cup,” she captioned the pic of Reynolds grabbing her boob.
