Brad, Angelina Take Maddox, Siblings to See Wicked for His B-Day!

Maddox Jolie-Pitt and his famous family took a trip to the marvelous land of Oz for his tenth birthday.
On Saturday, a day after Maddox turned 10, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt treated their eldest to a matinee performance of Wicked -- the smash Broadway musical -- on London's West End. See more photos from Maddox's fun-filled birthday.
Maddox was photographed with mom Jolie, 36, dad Pitt, 47, and sister Shiloh, 5, near the theater. Sister Zahara, 6, and brother Pax, 7, were also on hand for the theater event.

Word of the superstar brood's presence spread to the cast of the show.
"There was definitely a big excitement backstage! Everyone was on a high," a Wicked castmember tells Us Weekly.
And the Jolie-Pitts weren't perched a in a VIP box, either -- sitting in the orchestra, but surrounded by a few empty, reserved seats.

What did Maddox, Shiloh and the gang think of the show, about the earlier lives of witches of Oz (Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda, the Good Witch of the North)?
"They were very happy and quite quiet," the castmate says. "The children seemed fascinated by the spectacle." The group did not, however, visit backstage.

The family have been hanging out in England as Pitt shoots World War Z -- and, despite Saturday's fun outting, Jolie's not having the best time ever.
"She's not pleased being at home while he's on set," an insider told Us. "These are the longest hours he's spent on a set in a while, so it's just her and the kids with not much to do."

23To tell you the truth, the last time I went to the theater to see The Nutcracker, I dressed up, and then had 80% of the crowd stare at me like I was insane because they were all in jeans and tennis shoes. It doesn't matter what they're wearing. People are so shallow. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MADDOX.
@Jessica Riley Who are you to be judging? Why would you say Angelina doesn't understand what being a mother is and that she gets bored easily? Do you know her personally? You sound very stupid because Angelina does know that there are cameras taking pictures of her and her family and that's probably why she's looking down. Just because someone doesn't have a smile on their face twenty four seven doesn't mean they're unhappy. I also like how you don't attack Brad. How do you know he understands what a father is? Please stop making very stupid comments.
They all look the same whether they are on the beach, in a park, or going to a Musical show. Slovenly looking. Shiloh will always look like a boy, because Shiloh has identity problems.
I understand letting the little girl dress herself or whatever sometimes (the tomboy one..Shiloh?) but really they ought to make her dress up from time to time, too. Doesn't have to be a dress. But if this pic is actually the day they went to a Broadway show, they all could have and should have done better...starting with Brad, actually. But Shiloh looks a mess, too. They should have more respect for the theatre than that. As actors you would think they would know that.
They don't look so happy on this photo, when the cameras are on, they act all honey and roses. If Angelina was truly doing for her kids, like us poor folks, she would understand what being a mother is, and wouldn't get bored so easily. If Angelina isn't doing for Angelina..she isn't living.
Nicole you are just like Jolie..pushing yourself down peoples throat. Once was enough. Angelina is not a hands on parent. Maybe she should do their wash, or make their beds, or cook their meals, like real Moms do, and then she won't be so bored.

Angelina is too selfish and self promoting to be anything but bored with kids. She doesn't do the caring of them, the nannies do. They don't look very happy. I have no sympathy for Angelina. She got what she wanted as usual..she can deal with it. I agree with Lyrae, I hope they shack up forever, so someone else doesn't have to have them.
Sucks when the kids get older doesn't it Angie? Wonder if she is still going to try carrying them in her arms when they are 12 years old. Not Shiloh though she's just the blob.
Poor trashy Angie, has to give some time to her kids and Brad. Nannies do it all the other times. Just goes to show you, the skank is finally admitting she really doesn't usually spend this much time with her kids. Where is the other two? don't they have do anything with all of them.
