Exclusive: Brother: Teen Mom's Amber "Crying" Over Kim Kardashian Slam

Teen Mom's Amber Portwood is having a rough time.
The reality star, 20, made headlines for her nasty breakup with Gary Shirley, her ex-fiance and father to her daughter Leah, 2. (Several physical brawls with Shirley, 22, led to her late December arrest on domestic violence charges.) Now, several websites are reporting that she and her ex are speaking again, and on the verge of a reunion.

Her brother Shawn Portwood insists to UsMagazine.com that it's absolutely not true. "[Websites are claiming] Gary and Amber are talking every single day," Shawn tells Us. "That's not the case at all!"
Shawn added that his famous sister even plans to change her phone number to prevent any contact whatsoever with her ex.

Another source of grief for Amber: Kim Kardashian, who publicly slammed MTV's Teen Mom phenom, complaining that the show glamorized teen pregnancy.
Talking to Shawn over the phone about the Kardashian fracas, "[Amber] started getting really upset and crying, saying the whole world hates her," Shawn Portwood tells Us.

To cheer up his sister, Shawn even launched a "Help Amber Portwood" Facebook page. "I wanted her to know that people do care about her. People joined the group and it was very positive. They said that they would keep her in their prayers."

Kim said she lost her virginity when she was 15. Of course she didn't have a baby and go on TV but it's not like Kim is the saint for abstinence. I don't agree with the Teen Mom show and I do like Kim. But Kim doesn't have much of a place to speak on teen sex.

kim kardashian doesn't have the right to say anything about sending the wrong message to teens becaus there are/were many teens who look up to her and she put out a sex type (which by the way is retarded and shouldn't even be labled a sex tape...if anything it was Ray J poking fun at the whole situation while she just layed there sounding stupid as she tried to talk dirty. If you want a good laugh I suggest you watch it!) Amber and I use to be really good childhood friends and she has been through a lot. That doesn't give her the right to abuse Gary (which by the way is one of my current friends), but she does need help and it would be nice for people to support her rather than dog her 24/7. I have to agree with Kim Kardashian. These shows on MTV like Teen Mom and 16 and pregnant are glamorizing teen pregnancy and it's not good for you girls to see all of the attention that the young girls on the shows are getting. I myself got pregnant when I was 17 and it has been a constant struggle. I would highly recommend waiting until you are in your mid-twenties to have kids. These girls seem very immature and still children themselves.
Amazing how her brother is turning this into a pity party for Amber. She is the one who is physically & verbally abusive. Gary should have knocked the crap out of her one good time. She brought all of this on herself. I love how he also says she's changing her number to avoid all contact with Gary. Ok genius, he is the father of your child and has custody. So obviously she doesn't give a damn about seeing her child because you have to have communication to arrange visitation. Her tattoo also looks like a 12 year old drew it.
