Devoted dad and his darlings! Bruce Willis‘ wife Emma Heming shared a sweet snapshot of the actor, in which he’s taking a photo of his three eldest daughters Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout during a family dinner on Wednesday, April 22.
“Capturing, capturing, and capturing,” wrote the former model, who is Willis’ second wife. In the snap, Willis dutifully holds up the phone while his daughters (with ex-wife Demi Moore) beam for the camera. “#EastCoastLove #DaddysGirls,” Heming continued in her caption.
The Willis family has commanded the spotlight recently as Rumer, 26, continues to dominate on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. To show support for their baby girl, both Moore and Willis have made their way out to the studios to cheer on the scion.
Meanwhile, the Sixth Sense actor has been surrounded by even more estrogen after welcoming his fifth daughter Evelyn last spring. Along with Rumer, Scout, 23, and Tallulah, 21, Willis shares little Mabel, 3, and Evelyn, 11 months, with Heming.
Before her family dinner on Wednesday, Rumer chatted with Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show about her parents’ unconventional and amicable relationship following their divorce.
“It’s something that I commend them for so much,” she noted of their friendship. “You know, they made such a huge effort that we never had to split up birthdays or vacations, or anything like that. We literally would all go together.”
She continued: “I think they did such a good job — I don’t know what exactly it was — but just making us the priority and making sure that the relationship we had with both of them, of never undercutting each other and being such a unit and being together that it worked really well.”
As for whether she resents the spotlight at all? “I don’t think I would ever trade it because there are so many things that I’ve gotten,” she noted of being raised with famous parents. “I was talking to someone the other day and I said, you know, my math skills are crap, like my basic math. I still have to count on my hand. I missed school maybe that week when we were learning that! But the places I’ve been able to travel and the people I’ve been able to meet, I feel like there’s a trade-off.”
This includes her latest experience competing on Dancing With the Stars. In fact, Rumer — who plays Fran from Strictly Ballroom in the ongoing For The Record: Baz Luhrmann show — received some star-studded support last Thursday, April 16.
Along with her famous siblings, Rumer’s mom, diva Patti LaBelle, and dancing pros Maksim and Val Chmerkovskiy came out to watch her perform at DBA in West Hollywood.
