A family trip to the theater! Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum took their daughter, Everly, to see a production of the Christmas classic The Nutcracker at Los Angeles Ballet on Sunday, December 11.
Jenna, 36, documented the family of three’s outing on her Snapchat account, where she shared a series of sweet photos and videos. In one picture, Everly, 3, holds her hands up in the air while sitting next to her smiling parents as they wait for the show to start. “Ballet time,” Jenna captioned the post, covering her daughter’s face with a red heart emoji for privacy. (The couple have vowed to keep Everly’s face off their social media posts.)
After the performance ended, the trio headed backstage, where they met some of the ballerinas and performers. “I have a thing with light beams,” the Step Up actress quipped as she held Everly under a spotlight.
In another Snapchat video, the adorable toddler can be heard in the background saying, “I see another Christmas tree over there!”
The Nutcracker isn’t the only performance that dancers Channing, 36, and Jenna are showing Everly. In August, the actress said they plan to make their little girl watch Step Up whether she wants to or not.
“We keep saying we are going to force-feed Step Up to Everly,” she joked in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily. “Like, ‘You have to watch. You have to see where you came from.'”
As fans know, the happy couple, who married in July 2009, met on the set of Step Up in 2006 and have been in love ever since. “It’s interesting now because we can watch it … [and] go, ‘Oh, wow, that was actually our first real kiss,'” Jenna told Redbook in October 2014. “As soon as the movie wrapped, we went back to L.A. and were together, and together ever since — never broken up.”
