He gets an A for effort! Cutest dad ever Chris Hemsworth baked a cake for his daughter, India, this past Saturday, May 7, ahead of the little one's 4th birthday, and the result was hilariously sweet.
The Thor hunk, 32, shared a photo of his masterpiece: a Tyrannosaurus rex–shaped cake coated in lime-green frosting and decorated with several shades of food coloring and pastel-colored M&Ms. "What happens when the bakery says they don't have time to make your daughter a birthday cake?" Hemsworth captioned the shot. "You get involved and smash one out yourself! I call it 'La TRex al la chocolate.'"
His proud wife, Elsa Pataky, followed up with a behind-the-scenes photo of Hemsworth putting together the confection. In the photo, the Australian actor whips together the batter and looks über-focused as he stares down at the bowl, his biceps bulging.
In the foreground is a cutout of the dinosaur that Hemsworth attempted to emulate. "Papa working hard on India’s birthday cake!" the Spanish model, 39, captioned the pic. "Happy birthday India, love you more than anything! #family #love #birthdaygirl."
Hemsworth is apparently quite the chef in his household. Pataky shared a photo last month of her amazing husband preparing a little dish for India. "Papa making some late snack after premiere @thehunstman #jetlag #bestglamour #yummy #papachef #bestmoments #latrip."
Hemsworth joked in an interview last month that his eldest child — who's the big sister of her 2-year-old twin brothers, Sasha and Tristan — is a little bit of a tomboy. "My daughter is kind of envious of my boys, at the moment," Hemsworth revealed to Ellen DeGeneres. "She came to me the other day and she was like 'You know, Papa, I want one of those things that Sasha and Tristan have.'"
"I’m like, 'What do you mean?'" Hemsworth recalled. "She was like, 'You know, the things in between the legs that you have.'"
