Country Star James Otto Welcomes Baby Girl!

Break out the cigars: country music singer James Otto just became a first-time dad!
He and his wife Amy welcomed daughter Ava Catherine Otto on Tuesday night in a Nashville-area hospital, his rep tells UsMagazine.com. The couple's bundle of joy weighed in at 8 lbs., 2 oz. and is 19 1/2 inches long.

"We can't believe Ava is finally here!" James, 37, tells Us. "She is beautiful like her Mama and I am already wrapped around her tiny finger."
Adds the singer, who has been on tour: "I am so grateful I made it home in time to be here for her arrival--it has truly already changed our lives."

James and Amy wed in October 2005. The singer's third album, Shake What God Gave Ya, hits stores Sept. 14.
